Partner's can access their customer's accounts via Partner Portal.  The level of access depends on the type of partner.

  • PLR/reseller - can access CONTROL PANEL for the customer and everything in it.  A PLR / reseller gets full access because they are paying for the account
  • Partner Advisor - Advisor access to the customer's CONTROL PANEL is restricted by default.  An advisor does not have access to the CONTROL PANEL for the customer because the partner is not paying for the account and therefore is not entitled to view or control the customer's billing, Contacts, etc. For the Advisor to have access to CONTROL PANEL via the Partner Portal the customer must enable reseller access in CONTROL PANEL first. To do this in CONTROL PANEL they will need to click on Accounts -> Account Contacts and enable "Allow reseller to manage this account".

For a PLR/reseller

  1. Log in to Partner Portal.
  2. Log in as the partner following the steps here.
  3. Click Active Accounts.
  4. Click Login next to the account.
  5. This will take you to CONTROL PANEL for the customer.

For a Partner selling as an Advisor.

  1. Log in to Partner Portal.
  2. Log in as the partner following the steps here.
  3. Click Lookup Customers
  4. Click Manage next to the account.
  5. Click Login
  6. This will take you to the customer's CONTROL PANEL.
Important: Partner may be logged in to only one account at a time. So if a Partner logs into “Account A” in Tab1 and after that opens a Tab2 and logs into “Account B” he would be logged in as “Account B” in both tabs. So if the user switches back to Tab1 and performs any action, the server would consider that this action is performed on behalf of “Account B” even though in the page header we can clearly see “Account A”.
